Introducing our 3 robotics teams for the 2026–2027 season! They bring different personalities, different strengths, and unique engineering styles to the lab, but they are all working toward one goal.
Check out the video to meet the students behind the bots this year!

Welcome to our page for Northwest High Robotics!
With the school year officially winding down, we had to drop one final look at the absolute best part of the year: the crew behind the robots!
Beyond the matches and the mechanics, this year was all about the memories, the laughs, and the incredible culture built by all three of our teams—The Jawas (53073N), No Strings Attached (53073D), and the Bolt Bandits (53073A).
It's been an incredibly fun and memorable school year for Northwest High Robotics. On to the next one.

Will definitely miss our seniors. Congratulations ❤️
The uprising begins... right after 4th period. 😂
Tomorrow is their day. 🎓🤖
From nervous first competitions and long nights in the robotics room to building confidence, leadership, friendships, and unforgettable memories — these seniors helped shape Northwest High Robotics into what it is today.
They grew through every challenge, every setback, every win, and every moment spent building something bigger than a robot. Tomorrow, they walk across the stage carrying years of hard work, dedication, and growth with them.
No matter where life takes them next, they’ll always be part of this family.
Congratulations, seniors. Your next chapter starts tomorrow. 💛🖤
Very early season concept design 1.0 for this seasons game of Override by The Jawas. Scrapped this afternoon and on to 2.0 😂

Happy Mother’s Day from Northwest High Robotics!
Today we celebrate all of the amazing moms, grandmothers, and mother figures who support our students every step of the way — from late nights and competitions to every success along the journey.
Thank you for helping build the next generation of innovators, leaders, and problem-solvers.

Representing Northwest High Robotics in front of nearly 50 community leaders at St. Landry Bank's "Coffee with the CEO", Hailee and Jaiden did an outstanding job speaking about our program, the engineering process, and the impact STEM education is having on students at NHS.
From presenting confidently to demonstrating one of our competition robots, these students truly showcased the leadership, professionalism, and passion that drive Northwest High Robotics every day.

Thank you to St. Landry Bank and Trust Company for inviting Northwest High Robotics to be part of the first “Coffee with the CEO.” We’re proud of our students for representing NHS Robotics so well and sharing what STEM, teamwork, and innovation look like in action!
In this video, Hailee gives a great look into the engineering design process our students use in Northwest High Robotics when building competition robots. From brainstorming ideas and prototyping to testing, redesigning, and problem-solving under pressure, every robot is the result of teamwork, creativity, and countless hours of hard work.
This is what STEM education looks like in action. Proud of the way our students represented Northwest High today at “Coffee with the CEO.”
