We've been a little quiet around here, but we've definitely been busy!

Our Tiger Pride summer interns spent the month of June creating and printing shirts for the St. Landry Parish Career Exploration Camp. We were proud to partner with St. Landry Parish School Board and Exxon to produce shirts for more than 300 campers.

Projects like this give our students hands-on experience while serving our community, and we couldn't be more proud of the work they accomplished.

A big thank you to SLPSB and ExxonMobil for allowing Tiger Pride to be part of this project.

🖤🧡 OHS Families — Important Testing Week 🧡🖤

Parents and guardians, please take note — LEAP testing continues this week.

If your student is enrolled in a testing class, they must:
✔️ Report on time on their scheduled test date
✔️ Be present and prepared

🚫 No electronics are allowed in the testing environment — this includes students, faculty, staff, and approved visitors.

🎓 Seniors & Graduating Juniors:
Use this week to ensure all assignments are completed and turned in ahead of finals.

🏫 Career Center Students:
Continue to report according to your scheduled class times.

🧪LEAP Testing 2026🧪

LEAP testing begins April 8th. Find your test dates below and mark your calendar.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: No electronics of ANY KIND are allowed in the testing environment. This includes phones, smartwatches, earbuds, and all other devices.

Students remember:
Go to bed early the night before the test.
Eat a good breakfast.
Arrive to school on time for your test.

Due to the forecasted low temperatures tomorrow, students may wear jeans with their uniform tops and approved outerwear to stay warm.

Jeans may not have any holes or rips. All other uniform expectations remain in effect (no hoods or blankets, shirts tucked in, ID badges visible, etc.).

🎶 Wrapped up shirts for the Spanish Club ahead of their performance at the Latin Music Festival TOMORROW
💗 Printed pink cheer shirts for our awesome cheerleaders to wear TONIGHT as they cheer on the Tigers vs. Zachary
🏐 Started on brand-new pink jerseys for our Lady Tigers Volleyball Team as they prepare for MONDAY’S game
