Greetings From Panama City, Florida!

My name is Greg Finley, and I am Dealer Principal at Panama City Toyota in the Florida Panhandle. We believe we have one of the best service departments in the Southeastern United States, and we want to make it even better for our valued customers.

I hope you’re doing well. I am reaching out to see if you may be able to assist me or point me in the right direction in my search for automotive electricians. Perhaps, SUSCC have students in the automotive department with the experience we are searching for in this role. We are desperately seeking 2 auto electricians (car audio/electronics installer) for a 60 day special assignment, in which we are willing to pay 1.5- double the electrical pay. This only applies to temp worker’s. If temps become permanent MDT worker’s they will receive MDT electrical pay. The current starting electrical pay is $16/hr. Applicant must have experience and will need to submit resume for review. Needed ASAP. (see attached)

Over the last several years, I am sure that I have met you or possibly visited your college to talk about our student programs or to simply discuss opportunities at MBUSI in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Presently, I am no longer over our student training programs, but I am now responsible for all technical recruiting. I wanted to reach out and tell you about a great opportunity for someone with experience in automotive repair. We currently have many openings for repair technicians to work in our manufacturing facility. This role pays well, starting at just over $25 /hour and within 2 years, topping out at just over $31 / hour. At MBUSI, our technicians are paid an hourly rate, not based on a specific repair job. That’s an straight up hourly pay, regardless of the repair job. I know that this is unlike most all dealerships that pay a flat rate based on the specific repair.



Our facility is responsible for the production of several luxury Mercedes-Benz SUVs; the GLE, GLE Coupe, GLS, Maybach GLS and now, the all-electric EQS and EQE SUVs.



Aside from the pay, we offer a solid benefits package which includes an excellent health coverage, dental and vision. Other benefits such as: Lease car program, matching 401(k), Carehere sites which enable our TMs to see a physician, free of charge and an athletic facility located on-site.
