Ready for the best week ever? Come relive your childhood as we hold our second annual Scholastic Book Fair on the Opelika campus at SUSCC! We're open to the public and all proceeds will support our Family Literacy programming. We'll be hanging out in the Learning Resource Center from 8 to 430 Monday-Thursday, and then again on Friday from 8 to 10am. Come shop for a good cause!

Help support our GED and ELL programming by visiting our second annual Scholastic Book Fair! It will be held on the Opelika campus of Southern Union State Community College in the Learning Resource Center Oct 20th-23rd from 8am to 4:30 pm, and on Oct 24th from 8-10am. All proceeds will go to support our Adult Literacy programming. We're open to the public and would love for you to swing by and do some shopping for a good cause!

It's almost the best day of the year! We're celebrating all of our grads on Friday, July 25th at 10am in the Southern Room on the Opelika campus of Southern Union State Community College.

We are so so proud to announce that Alisa Bennett, our fearless GED instructor in Roanoke, not only won the Gold Star Teacher award for our region this year, but was also named the 2025 Alabama Adult Education Teacher of the Year by ALAPCAE! To say that we are thrilled that all of her hard work and dedication are being recognized is an understatement. Alisa is a vital part of our Adult Education team, and her diligence and care for each student in her classroom is unmatched. As anyone who is in her classroom knows, we are beyond lucky to have her expertise. Massive congratulations, Alisa!
