I had been taught "Leadership is Influence, nothing more, nothing less."

But there was more I had to learn..👀

I had been applauded and praised for the majority of my life.
Of course it was nice. 🤷🏾‍♀️

It became a problem when I thought the applause were for me.

What I learned is that the PRAISE was not for me. The PRAISE meant agreement with the DECISION.

So remember this:

Lead with praise,
Lead without praise.

And never worship the praise. ✨️

Sometimes navigating life feels like nonstop hustle.

But today, I was reminded that it does not have to be that way. Leading is about showing up with intention, calm, and grace. It's a skill we build, not a mask we wear or performance for the people. It's an intentional expansion of who we already are. 🙌🏾🙌🏾
So here's to expanding our leadership capacity, setting boundaries, finding moments of peace......AND. making everyday feel a little bit like FRIDAY. 😉
