That’s TODAY at 3:00.
Just your friendly reminder that it is, in fact, TUESDAY!
Which means you have very important plans this afternoon. 😉
Come wander the market, grab some local goodies, say hey to your favorite vendors, and leave with at least one thing you definitely didn’t know you needed.

Today is August 1st. We recently had our nation’s sort of birthday 250. I wonder if there’s a special Santa? My coming birthday is 80. You have plenty of time to plan. It’s not until January. A few of you have eclipsed me. I am honored I can ride around the sun again with you.
I have had lots of requests for classes featuring Thai cuisine. That’s what the focus is in August. We will not only explore special dishes but also ingredients like spices, seasonings and sauces you should have on hand if you are going to add Thai cooking to your regular repertoire. As best I can, the list will include sources.
Our classes are scheduled as follows:
Sunday 8/16 at 2:00
Tuesday 8/18 at 6:00
Thursday 8/20 at 6:00
Sunday 8/23 at 2:00
Monday 8/24 at 2:00
Thursday 8/27 at 6:00
Please claim your seat right away. As always, our classes are treated like an event. Payment is expected at the time you get your seat.
I look forward to getting back to more active class events. I will also continue my weekly column in the Auburn Villager. I hope to begin to send out a sort of newsletter that will talk about food and beverage products we have had plus local food experiences. This will be similar to the one I produced before I was retained by the Villager and that became permanent. This is a time consuming venture. But it is my intention to make this happen.
No matter whether it’s classes, columns or newsletter, I welcome your ideas and input. Let me know what you want to see. I look forward to hearing from you.

June is class time. Summer Delights. Five special dishes featuring some popular fruits and veggies plus tender tasty shrimp. My friend Dave Fuller sold his seafood business. He got us some fine goodies before. I now will have access again to special treats for classes and you.
Classes begin on June 7th and run through June 18th. Other times are available if you need. We added a Spanish class in May for a special birthday celebration. It was great fun. All you have to do is ask.
