For more than 22 years, Mrs. April Brock has dedicated her career to Opelika City Schools, helping students and teachers reach their fullest potential. 💫
A proud Auburn University graduate, Mrs. Brock began her journey as a seventh-grade history teacher before serving as assistant principal at Opelika Middle School and now principal of Fox Run School.
Her favorite part of being a principal is watching growth happen for students and staff. “When everyone feels valued and supported, incredible things happen in our classrooms,” she said.

✨ It’s been a GREAT week at Fox Run! From calculating Fruit Loop ratios in Math ➗, to reading in the courtyard during ELA 📖, to kicking off our very first FCA club with an amazing turnout 🤩— our 6th graders are learning, growing, and having fun every step of the way. 💡🐾
