Message from the Principal:

To the Dixie Elementary School Family,
Thank you for all of the memories and wonderful achievements we have shared here at Dixie. Although it has only been two years, this school is truly a special place and will always hold a special place in my heart.

I want to thank our amazing school board and superintendent for entrusting me with the opportunity to help shape and develop young minds. I hope that through my leadership, I have helped make the school, staff, and community just a little bit better. I walk by faith and know that I have worked tirelessly to ensure I was always doing what was best for kids.

To the staff you are amazing and will always be special to me. You accepted me with open arms and allowed me to lead to the best of my ability. Even through difficult conversations, we always did what we believed was right for our students. Please continue to advocate for them and ensure they receive the very best in everything.

To our community, churches, commissioners, and stakeholders thank you for your continued support and dedication to Dixie. I will always remember the weekends and summer days we spent working together to create a place our students could love and take pride in. From PTO meetings to planning events and improving opportunities for our students, we always strived for excellence in all that we did.

I have truly enjoyed my time here, and although this moment is bittersweet, I will always be an Eagle. We are family, and no matter where life takes me, Dixie will always feel like home.

As I begin my new journey as Principal of Mount Olive Intermediate School, I will carry with me the knowledge, love, strength, and encouragement I gained from my Dixie family.
