ARPEC School Registered since October of 1949, we are the first A/C, Refrigeration and Pipefitting education cent

The Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Pipefitting training program is designed so you can earn an income while you learn, and it is completely TUITION FREE. Students at ARPEC make a great living with an hourly wage that increases every year they’re in the 5 year apprenticeship program. Full health benefits are added after just the first year, and retirement benefits added in the fourth year. Upon graduation, apprentices become craft journeymen with a starting wage and fringe benefit package ranging from $60,000 to $72,000 per year

As an ARPEC apprentice, you won't just be working toward a high-earning career installing and maintaining the piping systems that keep South Florida running, you'll be learning on the job—without student debt!

You'll work during the day and train in HVACR service or pipefitting two nights a week at our state-of-the-art training center. And you'll make a living wage while you're learning!

You'll earn about $44,000 in wages and benefits your first year, with raises every year after. Finish the five-year program and you'll join journeypersons averaging $90,000+ a year, with quality healthcare and two retirement plans behind you.

This course provides foundational training appropriate for those who would like to begin servicing chilled water systems in commercial applications. The class will explore various chilled water systems using a Trane textbook that covers both constant flow and variable flow systems. In addition, the class will cover water flow through vessels such as chillers and air handing units (AHU). Students will have the opportunity to practice troubleshooting scenarios during shop time.
