The EastHamFam is so proud of Tre for everything he has accomplished on the field, but we are even more proud of the man he is off the field—his character, his work ethic, his humility, and the way he represents his family, his community, and East Hamilton.

Tre is a true example of what it means to be a member of the EastHamFam. We are honored to celebrate him, his legacy, and all that he continues to represent.

🏈 A HISTORIC NIGHT AT HURRICANE HILL! 🏈

Join us Friday, August 21 as East Hamilton kicks off the 2026 football season with a very special celebration honoring one of our own — Tre Herndon, Class of 2014! 💚🖤🤍

Before the Canes take the field for our season opener, we will make East Hamilton history as Tre becomes the first athlete in school history to have his jersey retired. #️⃣2️⃣1️⃣

After an outstanding career at East Hamilton, Tre went on to play at Vanderbilt University before continuing his football career in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars. From Hurricane Hill to the SEC to the NFL, Tre has represented East Hamilton every step of the way — and now, we get to welcome him home and celebrate where it all began.

We invite former teammates, coaches, classmates, alumni, students, families, and the entire EastHamFam to pack Hurricane Hill and help us honor #21 Tre Herndon on this historic night!

💚 HOMECOMING PARADE IS BACK, CANES!

We are gearing up for another Homecoming Parade, and this year we’re challenging our Cane community to OUTDO what you did last year!

Bring the school spirit BIG — decorate a float, truck or car, gather your team, club, organization or group, and join us on foot! We want to see our entire Cane community represented. 💚🤍
