Well, I have some not great news...
I fell on some steps a couple of weeks ago and broke my ankle REALLY well. So I won't be able to teach for the next several weeks at best. Maybe a few months at worst. I've already had surgery and so I'm on the road to recovery... Thank you for any prayers you wanna throw my way and I'll let you know when I'm back to work.

I've been teaching Private Concealed Carry (and other gun classes) for over 10 years with no change in my prices. That's going to change as of July 1 of this year. If you want to lock in the current pricing, you can buy a gift certificate now at the old prices. It must be used by Dec 1st.

New pricing will be as follows:
Concealed carry for 1 student: $125
Concealed carry for 2-3: $90 each
Concealed carry for 4 or more: $70 each
If you have taken a class with me within the previous year, your next one will be 20% off (mainly to help out those who let their certificate expire)

I always recommend to students that they should have a good med kit that would be able to handle a critical wound. (Not just a boo boo box).
But I often fail to mention that your med kit might be useful in another situation. I recently had to use my tourniquet when my husband had an unfortunate accident with a knife.

Mourning with the Kirk family today.
Y'all know I don't post very often here, and when I do it's almost always gun training or gun law related.
I posted one thing on my personal page after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and I will paste it below, because I honestly can't think of anything better to say...
I'm so glad they caught him.

I'm so sad for this young man who God - and Charlie Kirk - loved. He chose to throw his life away before it had even really begun. God COMMANDS us to love him too, as hard as that is. It doesn't mean we don't also want justice. But we should be praying for his salvation through this process.
I'm so sad for his father, who, I've seen reported, had a long career in law enforcement (this has since been found to be untrue). There has to be immeasurable grief in bringing his child in, with the knowledge that he'd likely never be free again.
And I'm so sad for each person behind every ugly comment and post. Each one is an image bearer of God, and I pray that they will come to Him before it is too late.

They've got some sheepdogs in this congregation, y'all! They ran him over and then shot him for good measure. Only one injured was the security guard. Good job protecting your flock, guys. And praise God for His protection over this church family.

An excellent explanation of our newly expanded rights under HB 2818. If you don't know what that is, you need to watch it.
