His 31 years of service and leadership within ACSA reflect a deep commitment to educational excellence, equity, innovation, and servant leadership.

ACSA Region 12 was honored to be a part of the May 2026 Leadership Assembly as new statewide officers were sworn in and outgoing region leaders were recognized for their dedication and service. We also received important governance updates and engaged in meaningful conversations focused on leadership, advocacy, and the future of education in California.

A special shoutout to Dr. Cherina Betters for receiving a President’s Award — a well-deserved recognition of outstanding leadership, service, and commitment to education. 👏🏽
