"Dear CAMTC Certificate Holders:

The Governor announced that as of today, July 13, 2020, identified counties (representing approximately 75% of the population in California) must shut down specified industries, including massage and other personal care services, unless they can be modified to operate outside. Please see detailed information from the State on this issue, which can be found here: https://covid19.ca.gov/roadmap-counties/.

You can also check the status of your county by going to CAMTC’s interactive map, which can be found here: https://www.camtc.org/county-massage-reopening-map/.

Please note that while the State has stated that the specified industries (including personal care services) can operate as long as they can be modified to operate outside, providing massage outside is only permitted as long as it does not conflict with local county and city laws, rules, and regulations.
