Congratulations to our two new assistant principals for 2026/2027: Stacey Castro at Park View Elementary School and Lindsey Gutierrez at Ranch View School. We are excited for both of them to learn and grow as leaders. We are excited for what they will be bring to each of their campuses. Our teams are looking forward to developing our students next year and helping each student achieve their greatest potential!

MVSD Spring Celebration! We honored our teachers, classified, administrators and trustees along with 15 amazing retirees who are finishing up their careers at the close of this school year!!! A true honor to celebrate our outstanding MVSD staff!

Kudos to Jamie Wallace and Stacey Castro who presented this past weekend at the Inland Empire Math Council MaThink Conference on the topic of Building Thinking Classrooms. It is great having teacher leaders who represent MVSD at the county level and beyond. Thank you for sharing your expertise with others.

The 2026 WESELPA Art and Writing Showcase was an outstanding success on Thursday! MVSD Students and Staff were recognized for their outstanding contributions to support unique talents and art with the topic “The Superhero in Me”. Always a highlight of the school year!

The MVSD Board of Trustees is excited to announce the next principal for Ranch View School: Susan Holstrom. Ms. Holstrom is honored to serve as the new principal of Ranch View Elementary and to join the Mountain View community. Her experience in both general and special education has shaped her commitment to inclusive practices, student success, and building a positive school culture. She is a proud mother of three amazing young adults in college and graduate school, along with an 11-year-old furbaby. She is looking forward to meeting Wrangler students, families, and the MVSD team. She is grateful for the opportunity to follow Julie Alba and to carry on the incredible work of Ranch View. Please join us in welcoming Ms. Holstrom to Mountain View School District.

MVSD is excited to announce that Eric Mills will serve as Principal at Creek View School beginning July 1, 2026. Mr. Mills has served as Assistant Principal at Park View School. Mr. Mills has many years of experience as a teacher and leader. He is looking forward to meeting the staff and students at Creek View School. He is also excited about building connections across our Creekside communities.
