The Baldy View Regional Occupational Program is a California public school agency that provides career preparation programs and services for high school students and adults. Baldy View ROP is accredited by both Council on Occupational Education (COE) and the Accrediting Commission for Schools Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC). BVROP's reaffirmation accreditation for COE and ACS WASC will be February 1-5, 2021 via virtual visit. Some students already know exactly what they want to do — and for future stylists, this is the real thing. BVROP's Cosmetology program is a 1,000-hour course where students train in hairstyling, cutting, coloring, chemical treatments, facials, nail care, and makeup, with client safety and sanitation.
Offered in partnership with San Antonio ROP, the program prepares students for the state licensing exam, which opens the door to the entire beauty industry. Seats are limited and there's a waitlist, so talk to your school's career technician early.

If your student loves to cook, BVROP's Food and Hospitality Services program turns that passion into a career skill set. Students train in food production, preparation, and service — plus food safety, nutrition, commercial kitchen equipment, and the restaurant management side: ordering, cost analysis, and

For seniors ready to launch a healthcare career, this is a serious head start! BVROP's Pharmacy Technician program trains students in medication safety, pharmacy operations, and patient care for community, clinical, and hospital pharmacy settings. Students who complete the yearlong course earn OSHA 10 and are eligible to apply for the California State Board of Pharmacy Technician License — the credential the industry hires on.
