Today is Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, the date Major General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas, and delivered General Order No. 3 announcing the end of legalized slavery in Texas. This came nearly two and a half years after President Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation.

Designed for ages 12-15, your young animal lover will learn how to help rescue shelter pets from intake to adoption day!

From animal-themed guest speakers to fun projects and activities, they'll get up close and personal with animals every single day!

Junior Ambassadors runs from July 8th through July 12th from 9am-12pm each day.

Save the Date!

Summer workouts for the incoming freshman interested in cross country for the fall of 24/25 school year. These workouts are not mandatory and a great way to get in shape over the summer. Physicals are not required to participate but recommended prior to summer workouts. Check out the June schedule.

Summer XC workouts will begin Tuesday, June 18th. Anyone interested in running cross country next year should come to a summer workout and see how it goes.

Teacher for a day!

The final incentive trip was amazing! The rain held off and they all had a great time at the Mud Hens School Education Day! They were able to participate in hands-on activities and learn about career information from local organizations in Hensville Park as well as watch the game!

There will be Omega Day team meetings today during Advisory. Students-please report directly to your Omega Day team room. Captains-take attendance and get it to Mrs. Smith as soon as possible.

Sport/Art Camp/Reading Program forms are located in the office.

Wednesday, tomorrow will be our 4th incentive trip to watch the Mudhens. Sheets have been handed out during lunch for those that qualified. Please be sure to take them home to you parents. Carson Logan please report to the office after announcements.
