Don’t get phished during 🎣

Stay vigilant for threats from scammers! Keep these tips in mind when you receive phishy-looking emails, and report messages like this in your Outlook client.

🎣 : hi, we will never ask for your password or temporary one-time codes you use for multi-factor authentication, so PLEASE don’t give this sensitive information out to people claiming to be us (they’re not)

Additionally, we will never send you text messages asking for this info, so don’t provide it to people with non-NY area codes pretending to be us (they’re also not)

Report messages like this as phishing in your Outlook inbox, and get second opinions on sus correspondence by emailing screenshots to: [email protected]

🎣 FYI: Be on the lookout for suspicious looking emails, texts, and calls – especially those with a sense of urgency and odd spelling, grammar, and text formatting. If it seems phishy, it probably is!

If you’re ever unsure about a message you’ve received and want a second opinion, or if you’ve clicked on or interacted with something you now realize might be a phish, send it along to us in an email with a screenshot attached: [email protected]
