Congratulations to our fabulous Seniors of the Class of 2026!
Before the traditional group portrait with Gigantapithecus we handed out awards for 1st and 2nd Best in Senior Show and the Presidential purchase prize, and celebrated our hardworking staff and Art Intern. (Also pictured, best in show winners from our Concentrations Review and Vice Presidential purchase prize).

Come on down to the Ceramics Studio in Anderson Center for the Arts today is demoing from 9-12 and 1:30-4:30pm. There is a special kind of magic that happens watching someone throw on the potters wheel. Open to the public.

Students in Professor Barlow’s Painting I class finished in of their most challenging assignments this week. Using the glazing technique they started with an underpainting and then built up layers of paint to match the colors in an observational still life.

Kick off Spring with a visit to the Hartwick Peep Show, Friday April 10th, hosted in Anderson’s Foreman lobby, from 4:30-5:30. Submissions close Friday at noon. Stop by and enjoy the art, refreshments, snacks, and prizes. Peep show artists may pick up their work after awards are announced.
