Dear Classmates, I regret to inform you that our dear friend Catherine Tisenchek passed away at noon today. She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. Here is a beautiful photo of Cathy at Capresso during our 2012 reunion, and thanks to Erin Moore Hughes for sharing photos of Cathy at her retirement party. From the Daily Star, here's Cathy holding the Superior Work Performance Award as Oneonta City Chief Clerk in 2017. I invite you to share photos and remembrances of Cathy. Merry Christmas to you and your families! We took our first family vacation in two years in August to Central NY. Congratulations to Dr. Diane Georgeson for being honored with The Key to the City by Mayor Gary Herzig for outstanding work as the City Health Officer. We are grateful for your knowledge, dedication, and service to help guide the City through the pandemic. The lives you've saved might be those our family and friends. The OHS Alumni Association promotes interest in, pride in, and awareness of Oneonta High School and its alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends.

The new OHS AA website streamlines the process for becoming a member and renewing your membership. Oneonta icon Sam Nader dies at age 101 Albert "Sam" Nader, former Oneonta mayor and an integral part of bringing professional baseball to the city, has died, his family confirmed Tuesday. He was 101.
