Dear Classmates, I regret to inform you that our dear friend Catherine Tisenchek passed away at noon today. She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. Here is a beautiful photo of Cathy at Capresso during our 2012 reunion, and thanks to Erin Moore Hughes for sharing photos of Cathy at her retirement party. From the Daily Star, here's Cathy holding the Superior Work Performance Award as Oneonta City Chief Clerk in 2017. I invite you to share photos and remembrances of Cathy. Congratulations to Dr. Diane Georgeson for being honored with The Key to the City by Mayor Gary Herzig for outstanding work as the City Health Officer. We are grateful for your knowledge, dedication, and service to help guide the City through the pandemic. The lives you've saved might be those our family and friends. Look what arrived today, the 𝘖𝘏𝘚 𝘈𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘯𝘪 𝘕𝘦𝘸𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳, Summer 2021! It's loaded with interesting contributions from alumni and Alumni Weekend information, including the Hall of Fame and Wall of Distinction inductees!
If you do not see this cover in the next week or so, we hope that you will become a member, renew your membership, or update your postal mailing address.
The OHS Alumni Association promotes interest in, pride in, and awareness of Oneonta High School and its alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends.
Members support OHS graduates with scholarships and awards, the annual Armory event, the Hall of Fame and Wall of Distinction Induction Ceremonies, and the 𝘖𝘏𝘚 𝘈𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘯𝘪 𝘕𝘦𝘸𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳.
The new OHS AA website streamlines the process for becoming a member and renewing your membership. We offer three convenient options: 1) visit the registration table at the Armory during Alumni Weekend to pay via credit card or personal check, 2) see any representative of the Alumni Association, and 3) visit the new OHS AA website (https://www.oneontahighalumni.org/).
The OHS Alumni Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and memberships and donations can be tax deductible.

Dear Alice Nader O'Conner, I'm sure our classmates join me in expressing deepest sympathies to you and your family. Your father was an amazing man, pillar of the community, and dear friend of my father. I'm so very sorry for your loss and our loss. Thank you for sharing him with us. I hope you find comfort in many fond memories

Albert "Sam" Nader, former Oneonta mayor and an integral part of bringing professional baseball to the city, has died, his family confirmed Tuesday. He was 101.
