We wanted to pass along some information regarding the OHS 1985 football team who have been chosen to be inducted into the Blount County Hall of Fame - this would have been our junior year when we went to the state championship and finished as runner up against the Gordo Green Wave. Do y'all remember how cold that game was?!? There will be a banquet at the Blount County Multipurpose Center in Cleveland, AL on March 3, 2026. See attached graphic.

Oneonta City Schools will purchase 7 tables for both the 1985 and 1987 teams. If you are a football player from the 1985 team and would like to have one of these "free" seats, please text Sharon Standridge at 205-625-2866 to reserve your spot.

Cheerleaders and their guests and the guests of football players should email [email protected] to order tickets for $30 each - it's a steak dinner and a fun, entertaining event. You will mail a check to a PO box to secure your tickets and then pick them up at Will Call the night of the event.

If you have any interest, please make a quick decision - prior years have filled up and sold out quickly.
