📚🍂 Bringing Books to Life in Pre-K! 🍂📚
Today was a special day for Mrs. Reno and Mrs. Chyenne’s Pre-K class as we experienced our very first Book Walk!
Our story, The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything, came to life as students traveled through different stations, each representing a part of the book! Along the way, students collected tokens for their very own story retelling boards, helping them practice sequencing, story comprehension, and early literacy skills in a fun, hands-on way.
To make the experience even more exciting, some of our students dressed as adorable little scarecrows to match our story! 🌻🎃
What looked like a fun fall adventure was also an opportunity for meaningful learning! Through movement, storytelling, and interactive activities, our students strengthened important foundational literacy skills while making wonderful memories.
Today was also extra special as we welcomed our new student teacher, Ms. Mills! What better way to spend her first day than joining us for our very first Book Walk? We are so excited to have her as part of our classroom!
We love finding creative ways to make learning meaningful, engaging, and memorable for our youngest learners. Our first Book Walk was a wonderful experience! 🧡📖
