Our Preschool class had the honor of being recognized for their work on their poster submission for Law Day that happened on May 1st! Check out that first place blue ribbon! 🏆

A wonderful ice cream party was delivered by the parent of one of our students who is involved with the local law community. We are so grateful for the recognition and for the delicious treat!! 🍨

Our preschool group has been learning all about plants! We read Plant the Tiny Seed by Christie Matheson and then planted our very own zinnia seeds! These tiny seedlings will be going home on Tuesday for each kiddo to continue to care for over the summer. We hope that with proper care and a lot of patientience, they will hopefully get to see a couple beautiful zinnia blossoms!

Be sure to ask your preschooler about the 3 important things plants need to grow so they are sure to keep up with their care. They should be able to tell you: water💦, sun☀️, and wind💨

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful moms, grandmas, and other motherly figures we have the pleasure of working with day in and day out. We get to see firsthand all of the love you pour into your children, and all of the effort that is put into raising good little humans. We are so grateful for all you do!!

This past week our preschool students were invited by a parent who is involved with local law to participate in a poster contest for Law Day that was held on Friday, May 1st.

In order to frame the theme in terms our littles would understand, we asked them to simply tell us either what being free or freedom means to them, or what they love about living in America. We took down their words in exactly the way they expressed them. Their responses were both hysterical and showed the simplicity and joy of what it means to be a kid living in America.

The poster and the children’s responses were enjoyed so much that it caught the eye of the candidate running for New York’s Attorney General, Saritha Komatireddy.

Thank you to the parent who got us involved in this fun project, to the Oneida city judges who read their responses during the ceremony, to all involved with putting Law Day together for Madison County, and to Ms. Komatireddy for recognizing our students on her page.

We are so proud of our preschoolers!! 🫶

Their simple, honest perspectives on freedom and America are a good reminder of what matters—and why we do this work.
