This past weekend we had our overnight summer camp at Camp Nebowa! 🏕️
We started the day off splitting into two teams: Team Reilly & Team Troy! The first group (Team Reilly) headed over to the archery🏹 while the second group (Team Troy) built and painted bird houses🏠! After around 45 minutes we swapped activities. After being done with archery and bird houses, we headed into the dining hall for some yummy sandwiches🥪, chips, water melon🍉, & pickles🥒! After lunch we then split the campers into 3 groups: group 1 started with an outdoor scavenger hunt🔍, group 2 went kayaking🛶, & group 3 stayed in the dining hall and did crafts🖌️. After each group was done we rotated through so everyone got a chance to do all three activities! After wrapping up the activities, we headed to the pool! After swimming for about an hour and a half, everyone was starving, so we headed over to Pizza Hut for some pizza and breadsticks😋! When we got back to camp, some of the campers wanted to take showers after being in the pool. After our little break we got the fire started and made some delicious s’mores! After it started getting a little darker, we headed into the dining hall for movie night! We popped some popcorn🍿 and watched Hoppers, which was a big hit! After a long day of having fun our campers were tired, so we all headed to bed. In the morning, everyone came into the dining hall to get some donuts🍩 and juice🧃! Our campers said goodbye around 9 am and we were so sad to see them go, but were happy they had such a fun time!😊
