Apples, powwow royalty, and a whole crew of newly trained book doctors… it’s been a pretty good month at Nay Ah Shing!
Back in September, our first and second graders headed out for some fall apple picking. They learned how apples grow, picked some themselves, and then took things one step further by making applesauce to enjoy back in their classrooms. 🍎
We also have another round of Positive Drawing winners to celebrate! We love getting to catch our students doing good things and give them a little recognition for it. 🌟
And we couldn’t pass up the chance to share this great photo of our Junior Brave Kayden Churchill, Junior Princess Nyah Benjamin, Senior Brave Terrance Stillday, and Senior Princess Kayleigh Houle from this year’s school powwow. ❤️💛🖤🤍
Finally, there have been some unusual medical cases showing up in the library lately… torn pages, bent covers, broken spines. Luckily, we now have plenty of help. 🩺📚
Students became book doctors and nurses at our Book Hospital, learning what happens when a book gets hurt, how we fix it, and what they can do to keep our library books healthy in the first place.
Just a few of the things that have been keeping us busy, learning, and having some fun along the way at Nay Ah Shing. 🍂✨
