Our chapter holds our friends in Porter close to the heart tonight!! Prayers for the family, school, and community!!

The Porter FFA family is heartbroken by the tragic loss of our Chapter President, Hunter Jeter. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Jeter family and everyone who loved Hunter during this incredibly difficult time. He will be deeply missed.

What a PHENOMENAL start to our LDE season! We are extremely proud of each of these 45 students and cannot wait to see what the next contest will hold. Next up, Onalaska FFA will head towards Waco next Friday to take on the China Spring LDE Invitational contest. Sending GOOD luck wishes to our awesome LDE kiddos competing next week!!!

**Leadership Development Events focus on creating situations for members to demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA organization. Team and individual events are used to reinforce what is taught in agricultural science classrooms.**

If you sold Fresh Country Meat and Cookie items, your orders will be delivered this Monday, October 5th. Pick-up is MANDATORY!!!

IMPORTANT INFO TO FOLLOW:

‼️ You can pick up your after 4:30pm that day; pull around back to the Ag Shop. Do NOT show up between 3:30pm-4:30pm due to bus pickup!!

‼️ Students... if you ride the bus, please find alternate transportation on Monday afternoon.

‼️ All items MUST be picked up on October 5 before 6:00pm! All products come frozen and we do NOT have anywhere to hold or store your frozen products!

**Busses will be pulling around the back of the school by the Ag Shop between 3:45-4:30pm... please do NOT drive around back during those times!!**

Please make sure you have payment ready in the form of cash or check (payable to "Onalaska FFA"). No credit/debit card payments accepted.

***There will be a LIMITED QUANTITY of extras available for purchase if you did not pre-order prior to delivery! If you did not pre-order, this is your LAST CHANCE to pick up mums on a "first come, first served" basis!***

ParentSquare will continue to be used for official school communication. However, because our Show Team and Ag Barn include both middle school and high school students, we currently do not have an easy way to keep everyone together in one ParentSquare group.

Wildlife team of Conner Graham, Kanin Peters, Conner Ard and Easton Ard took the woods for the first contest of the season in Rusk. Finished 6th as a team with Conner Graham winning High Point individual!! Excellent first contest for our 2 rookies!!

**DELIVERY UPDATES**

Mums will be delivered on October 1. You can grab them after lunch starting at 1:15pm around back at the Ag Shop.

Meat and Cookie orders will be delivered on October 5. You can grab them after 4:30pm that day. Pull around back to the Ag Shop. Do NOT show up between 3:30pm-4:30pm due to bus pickup!! They must be picked up on October 5 because the product comes frozen.
