The Mighty 4th Graders Our Pillars for Growth:
Effort || Teamwork || Kindness || Authentic Voice Within these walls, and out in that world, I can make a difference in this world.

The Mighty 3rd Graders are a group of resilient, hard working, and positive thinkers who are determined to "dominate the day." We utilize technology, MAPs (mindfulness awareness practices), reflective thought, collaborative thinking, and an active form of learning in which to further our growth every day. We also live by our "Mighty Creed" (and recite it every day) in which to remind ourselves of the powerful journey that we're on:

"We are the Mighty 3rd Graders,
We know through strong effort that we can dominate the day,
No matter the subject,
No matter the challenge,
We will succeed together. All it takes is the best of me and the best of we. Today is my day. Today is your day. Now let's... get... started!"

Itโ€™s the most talked about random event every year: racing Mr. Z!

For the last 11 years, Iโ€™ve been able to beat a Mighty 4th Grader with a 2 to 3 second head start. That ended this year as Pax came away with the win (and 500 Gold Points)!

Mana Gold points (via ClassMana) are given for strong work ethic, acts of kindness, focused collaboration, being a leader, sharing out answers to the class, listening well during lessons, and transitioning in a timely manner. Each time a student meets these expectations throughout the day, they receive 3 gold points on average.
