No Tournament/Open Mat ( 9/12 )

🤍💛🧡💚 White-Green Belts in the Beginner Program will test at 12:15pm. As discussed in classes, please be at the studio by 12 pm.

Remember that there is never any pressure to test. If you received a notice, then you are eligible to test. You are able to test in-person or via Zoom (normal class code). You can also invite friends and family to watch via Zoom as well.

If you plan to test, make sure you have turned in your testing notice with payment by to avoid a late fee. Anything paid on or after the 12th will result in a $10 late fee.

We ask that you are caught up on tuition payments, that you know the material, and that you feel ready!
🥋 Make sure you have your full uniform and belt and arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled testing time (or be in the Zoom waiting room). We know you all can do it! Let's earn those new belts!

🖤 Black Belts- You are welcome to help with the testing. We would greatly appreciate it! Come ready to motivate and cheer them on!

💜💙❤️🤎🖤 Advanced/Black Belts- You are more than welcome to demonstrate a form for the Beginner Testing to earn a class credit. Be sure to pull your card.
We believe in all of you!

Today, we remember. 🇺🇸
We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger.

May we never forget the courage, compassion, and unity that followed. May we continue to teach the next generation to remember, to love, and to look out for one another.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
❤️🤍💙

Nettie’s recommendation for this week’s menu:
Red, White, & Berry Flight Box is back by popular demand!! To add something a little extra, spread with butter, cream cheese, or something sweet.

📢 We will ONLY be open for our Adult/Youth Jiu-Jitsu classes this morning. We apologize for any inconvenience and sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding. Mr. H is still out on paternity leave. 8/8/26

🥋 Good skill to all of our students competing at the Y Tournament! 🥋

Go out there, give it your best, and most importantly, represent yourselves and our school with great sportsmanship.

Win or lose, remember to high-five someone, encourage a teammate, meet a new friend, and tell your opponent “good job.” Celebrate their hard work just as much as your own.

Because the biggest wins aren’t always the ones on the scoreboard. The way you treat people, the friends you make, and the character you show. That’s how you really win.

We are proud of you! Go have fun, be kind, and give it your all! 🥋👏

Just a friendly reminder that there will be no regular classes today. 🥋 August 1.

We hope you have a wonderful weekend filled with rest, fun, and time with the ones you love. We'll see you back on the mats soon!

Well... you asked for it! 🍉🍉
After so many votes and requests, tonight is the night. Mr. H will be teaching classes with watermelons strapped on to celebrate our twin boys, who could make their arrival any day now! 💙💙

Before the fun begins, we also want to take a moment to recognize the incredible strength of mothers. Whether your journey to motherhood is through pregnancy, adoption, foster care, step-parenting, or simply loving and nurturing a child as your own—we see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you. Thank you for the countless ways you show up with courage, patience, and love every single day.

Thank you for cheering us on through this special chapter. We love that our martial arts family gets to laugh, celebrate, and make memories right alongside us.
See you tonight!

🍉 Warning: Dad jokes are about to be in full rind.

✨ Nettie's is back!! ✨
Trust us, you don't want to miss this menu.… or any menu, for that matter! 🤩

Whether you're a student or not, whether you have class tonight or not, make plans to stop by and treat yourself.

We promise it'll be worth it!
See you tonight!

Summer has a way of bringing everyone together! Long evenings, the grill fired up, and good food shared around the picnic table. ☀️

Whether you're building the perfect burger or serving up your favorite BBQ, fresh sourdough and sweets is the perfect finishing touch. Here's to simple moments, full plates, and making the most of summer. ❤️🍔🍞

I would love to see you!

Nettie’s recommendation for this week’s menu:
Sourdough Pancake Mix! For those busy days, this makes for a very easy and delicious meal. The pancakes are a perfect mixture of light and fluffy. They have been grandchildren approved!
