Onalaska High School Alumni Association

The Onalaska High School Alumni Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization representing the alumni of Onalaska High School located in Onalaska, WI.

The Onalaska High School Alumni Association was established in 2008 with a mission to promote the ongoing development and welfare of the high school and its students. All alumni, current and former staff, and friends of Onalaska High School are encouraged to support and show a continued interest in their alma mater. The board of directors has established goals to provide opportunities for meaningf

ul environment in the ongoing development of the high school by:

Recognizing and financially supporting student achievements and successes through the development of a scholarship fund,

Providing additional assistance to high school staff and faculty for professional development,

scheduling interactive events that include alumni and current students, and by

Expanding this web site in order to effectively communicate with our members. The Onalaska High School Alumni Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Wall of Honor - Michael McMahon

The Onalaska High School Alumni Association, in partnership with the School District of Onalaska, will honor Michael McMahon, Class of 2024, during a Wall of Honor ceremony on Sunday, May 17, at 6:30 p.m. at Onalaska High School. The Wall of Honor memorializes alumni who gave their lives in service to our country.

Born in 2006, Michael grew up in the Holmen area. He always enjoyed sports - especially lacrosse and football - which he played during his time at Onalaska High School. His love for football led him to Concordia University, where he played for a year before finding a new interest and passion in serving his country. In 2025, Michael enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and quickly distinguished himself as both a guide and squad leader during boot camp. He took great pride in being a Marine.

In March 2026, Michael passed away during a training exercise at Camp Pendleton, California. He was 19 years old. His legacy of commitment and dedication to his country will be remembered through the Wall of Honor and in the hearts of those who knew him.

Michael’s Wall of Honor ceremony is open to the public. Guests are encouraged to enter through Doors P at Onalaska High School, located near the commons.

Here are the details on the All Class Reunion, Wall of Excellence Induction Ceremony, and Homecoming activities on October 10-11.

All Class Reunion

Date/Time: Saturday, October 11, 2025 - 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Location: Dash Center (new Onalaska Community Center): 515 Quincy Street, Onalaska, WI 54650
Cost: $10.00 (Tickets available at the door)

Details:
- Cash only bar with beer, seltzers, and non-alcoholic beverages
- 50/50 and other raffles
- Yearbook display

Note: Tours of Onalaska High School will be available on Saturday, October 11 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

2026 Wall of Excellence Induction Ceremony

Time: Doors open at 5:45 PM - ceremony begins at 6:00 PM

- Varsity Football on Friday, October 10 versus Tomah

If you know someone that is deserving of being recognized for their accomplishments, please take a few minutes to fill out the online nomination form or stop by the main office at the high school to pick up a paper copy. 2025 WALL OF EXCELLENCE NOMINATIONS

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2023 Wall of Excellence inductions. How can you make a nomination?

There are two convenient ways:
1) Use the online form on the Alumni Association website.
2) Fill out a nomination ballot and mail it in. The ballot is available by download on the website or a hard copy is available at the main office at Onalaska High School.
