I wanted to remind you all that tonight we have our PTE OT Happy Hour!! This is going to be a really fun, chill time for us all to network with other PTE members from local schools! Come grab a drink, some food, and meet new OT friends! Even if you can only stop by for a short amount of time, I hope to see as many CSM members there as possible! It would be so awesome to have great representation!
If you have any questions email Caitlyn Harris

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Round Table Event! One of the many reasons why OT is such a great career is the fact there are limitless settings in which we can practice.
Did you find your dream practice setting?

UPCOMING PTE EVENT

Round Table

Time: 5:30-7:40

Location: Warde

This event is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about other practice settings in OT since we only get 5 fieldworks total. This Round Table is also focusing on non-traditional practice areas of OT, so it is extra beneficial since we do not often learn about them. Practice areas include school based peds, outpatient neuro/educator, OT manager, PACE Program, incontinence rehab, NICU lactation specialist, and lymphedema!

This morning some of our SOTA members teamed up with PTE to participate in the Parkinson’s Moving Day Walk at Stinson Park in Aksarben! This fundraiser is to raise awareness for those who are diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease (PD). Every 9 minutes, somebody is diagnosed with PD and there are about 10 million people living with this disease worldwide.
