In 𝙊𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙙𝙤𝙭𝙮, G.K. Chesterton wrote that when people stop believing in God, they do not believe in nothing— 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜.

At Chesterton Academy of Omaha, we believe that faith and reason belong together, and that all truth finds its source in God. That conviction is at the heart of the integrated curriculum developed by the Chesterton Schools Network and taught in our classrooms each day.

Later this month, several of our teachers will travel to the Chesterton Schools Network Summit at Ave Maria University in Florida for a time of formation, fellowship, and professional development. They will join educators from Chesterton schools across the country to learn, collaborate, and grow in their mission of helping students encounter truth, goodness, and beauty—and ultimately, draw closer to Our Lord.

Heavenly Father,

We thank You for the gift of these graduates and for the many ways You have guided them during their years at Chesterton Academy. Thank You for the wisdom they have gained, the friendships they have formed, and the truths they have come to know through their studies and their faith.

As they begin the next chapter of their lives, grant them the courage to follow where You lead. Help them to carry with them a love of truth, a desire for goodness, and an appreciation for beauty. May the lessons they have learned not remain only in their minds, but take root in their hearts and be reflected in the way they live, work, serve, and love.

Give them wisdom in their decisions, perseverance in challenges, humility in success, and trust in Your providence. May they never cease seeking You, and may they use their gifts to glorify You and serve others.

Like the saints who have gone before them, may they be joyful witnesses to the Gospel in every place You call them. And may they always remember that their ultimate vocation is to know, love, and follow You.

We entrust these graduates to the care of the Blessed Virgin Mary and ask all this through Christ our Lord.

Looking for a hands-on summer experience?

Join us for 𝑺𝒆𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑 at Chesterton Academy of Omaha, June 15–19! Campers will learn practical sewing skills, including how to use a sewing machine, read a pattern, and create a project such as a skirt, pajama pants, shirt, or stuffed animal. Whether your student is brand new to sewing or ready to build on existing skills, this camp offers a fun and creative opportunity to learn something new.

"The Chesterton Network of classical Catholic education opened its first school in 2008. Four more were added in 2014. Today, the network has 71 schools, with another 18 planned across the United States and Canada, and 12 in Europe and Africa, said Dale Ahlquist, the program’s founder.

Chesterton, unlike other classical Catholic organizations, is limited to grades 9 to 12. Student bodies comprise those who attended traditional Catholic schools through 8th grade, and former public school and homeschooled students. The schools have a similar approach to their Christian counterparts, focusing on great literature as the vehicle for telling the human story—but require daily mass. Annual tuition is under $10,000.

“We’re astounded by this growth,” Ahlquist told The Epoch Times. “We had a good model, and the word got out without us doing any publicity.”

Chesterton was awarded the $1 million Yass prize from the Center for Education Reform last year. Ahlquist said the money will be used to train more teachers."

Chesterton Academy of Omaha is incredibly grateful to be a beneficiary of Emry Brandon’s American Heritage Girls Stars and Stripes Award Project.

After many hours of planning and preparation, Emry created a beautiful prayer garden outside of St. Mary’s Church. With the help of Chesterton Academy students and families, the space was transformed into a peaceful place for prayer, reflection, and growing closer to Our Lord.
