The Excellence In Youth Team is thrilled to shine a spotlight on Andrew from Sunset, the latest recipient of the Digital Dozen Award for the 2025-2026 school year! This award is earned by WCS students who complete 12 digital badge projects from the EY Website (ey.westside66.org), which is accessible to students across the district. It takes hard work, grit, and dedication to earn these badges, and this bright star should be proud of this shining accomplishment!

Last week, the sixth graders put on an amazing bucket drumming performance in the gym for the whole school! 🥁 It was so much fun to hear the songs they’ve been practicing and watch all of their creativity, determination, and hard work pay off. We are so proud of the effort they put in and the confidence they showed during their performance! 🎶👏

The SIGMA math contest is a national math contest that EY students participated in 5 times this school year. These 4 students earned a national shout out- Honorable Mention for being among the top scorers! Great work!

These Tigers graduated this weekend, but came back to walk the halls of their elementary school one last time while our young Tigers cheered them on. 🐯🎓 We are so proud of all of your hard work, growth, and everything you’ve accomplished. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger! 🧡🖤
