This Boys Town skill is designed to teach children how to engage in back-and-forth communication effectively.

Thank you SO MUCH to our students, families, Hearts of Cues, and the Sacred Heart Parish Omaha for making our Spring Scholastic Book Fair such a huge success!!

We would like to thank CUES Omaha for making it possible to take our students on such an amazing trip to experience our nation's capitol!
Students from All Saints Catholic School (Omaha), Holy Name School-Omaha, and Sacred Heart spent four days exploring and learning through the CloseUp Foundation. We had the opportunity to discover the significance of famous monuments, incredible Smithsonian museums, and awe-inspiring memorials in Washington, D.C. Students examined the people, events, debates, and enduring questions that have forged our form of government.
Notable visits included: FDR Memorial, MLK Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, American history Museum, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, Capitol Hill, the White House, Reagan Building & International Trader Center, Lincoln,Korean, & Vietnam Memorials, US Marine Corps Memorial, and the Museum of Natural History. Students also took part in workshops discussing characteristics of a good law and current issues deliberation. The girls also spent time at the Holocaust Museum and African American History Museum to wrap up their time in DC.
