Edison Elementary At Edison, we are committed to creating a school that gives every student the opportunity to SOAR. Our Edison Eagles will have the opportunity to be successful.

Every student will have the opportunity to develop their character and academic skills. Students are served in kindergarten through sixth grade. Programs in special education, gifted and talented education, guidance and counseling, and English as a Second Language support regular classroom instruction. An active parent-teacher association and several Adopt-A-School business partners support the sc

hool's educational efforts by helping to provide financial and material resources. Students, staff, parents, and community members work collaboratively to ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow and develop socially and academically to his or her greatest potential. The mission statement of Edison School embodies the educational goal for each student in stating, "Our mission at Edison School is to use a school-wide proactive approach to enable students and the school community to consistently focus on positive learning and social competencies."

We are so excited to welcome our Eagles back for a wonderful new school year! Our staff is ready, our school is ready, and we can’t wait to see our students walk through the doors. We’re looking forward to a year filled with learning, growing, and making memories together as we go To College and Beyond! 💙

A few important reminders for morning arrival:

🚗 Moving Drop-Off: The east side of the street, south of the bus loading zone, is our designated moving drop-off area. Please pull forward, let your child out, and continue moving so we can keep traffic flowing.​

🚌 Bus Loading Zone: Please keep this area clear. Buses will be using this space for student arrival and dismissal.​

🚙 Staff Parking Lot: The staff parking lot is not available for student arrival or dismissal. Buses will be using this area, and we need to keep it clear and safe.​

🚶 West Side of the Street: If you would like to park and walk your child to school, please use this side of the street.​

​
🚸 Crosswalks: Please always use the designated crosswalks when crossing the street.​
