Collaboration in juvenile justice is where meaningful change happens.

It was an honor to participate in the Nebraska Juvenile Justice Association’s 50th Anniversary Conference alongside partners from the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Juvenile Justice Institute (Kristan Russell ) and Michigan State University (Heather Perez).

Our session, “From Knowledge to Impact: Juvenile Justice Training, Research, and Evaluation Resources,” highlighted how cross-state and cross-disciplinary partnerships can strengthen youth-serving systems through research, training, technical assistance, and evidence-informed practice.

A special thank you to NJJA for 50 years of leadership, education, and collaboration in support of youth, families, and professionals across Nebraska and beyond. The conference continues to create space for practitioners, researchers, educators, and advocates to connect and move the field forward together. (njja.org)

Grateful to share ideas with such dedicated colleagues and to celebrate the partnerships that make this work possible.
