Happy 80th Birthday to the legendary “Catman” Peter Criss. One of my early influences. He remains one of my all time favorite drummers.

Rich Redmond is my country drumming hero. He plays with an incredible sense of timing and groove. All while attacking the drums with control and power. You can hear all of this translate into his final tracks.

Urge all drummers to follow Rich and take on his material. I always enjoy playing along to Jason Aldean and finding the little gems within the drum grooves.

I got a Sound Percussion Labs 468 Series Snare Drum 14 x 8 in. Turquoise Blue Fade $99 at GC. 10 lug snare and should tune up nicely.
