Circle of Love Childcare Center

Our center provides a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 6 weeks to schoolage. Our staff are highly experienced and trained.

Here at Circle of Love we believe that every child is unique and special. Our nurturing staff and carefully designed work settings enhance children’s intellectual, physical and social growth; children are offered a wide variety of activities to enhance their learning. Our program is teacher directed and child initiated, encouraging children to explore and discover within a controlled and structure

d environment. Our curriculum is a comprehensive, theme-based program of hands-on activities that are developmentally appropriate for children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years. We also have a supplemental program appropriate for toddlers. Program Objectives:

· To help the children use their five senses to explore the world around them

· To help develop positive self-esteem

· To promote self-help skills

· To develop an interest in learning

· To encourage problem solving

· To stimulate imagination and creativity

· To emphasize process rather than final product

· To introduce basic colors, shapes, letters, numbers, and pre-math concepts

· To develop language and listening skills

· To encourage dramatic play

· To improve small and large motor skills

· To introduce seasons and holidays

We have also incorporated a Spanish Learning Program designed for children ages 2 and up that is taught bi-weekly. Exposing children to the language and cultures of others is extremely beneficial and can result in enhanced academic achievement in reading, math, and social studies. Our Program

Infants - 6 weeks to 15 months

Circle Of Love is licensed for infants with a maximum 1:4 ratio. Our program offers a fun and stimulating day for your little one. Interesting surroundings, objects to observe and manipulate, songs and conversation and a positive relationship with our caring staff arouse cognitive, physical and social awareness. Infants will indulge in Tummy Time and other activities to build fine motor skills as well. Circle of Love is licensed for total of toddlers. Including the following:

Young toddlers -16 to 23 months

Toddlers with a maximum 1:7 ratio

Our toddlers begin to learn to work and play with others. Communicating, expressing needs, sharing, and taking turns are all life skills that will be developed and fostered. Older toddlers - 24 to 32 months

Toddlers with a maximum 1:7 ratio

As children begin to master important people skills, they are ready to move into our older toddler group where they can be challenged academically (with books, pictures, puzzles and music) and physically (with time and space for running, jumping and dancing). Preschool - 33 months until First Day of Kindergarten

Circle of love is licensed for preschoolers with a maximum 1:10 ratio

Our preschool program offers different classes to challenge your child as he or she grows and develops. Our curriculum for three-year-old children will emphasize language, activity and movement, with major emphasis on large motor development. Four-year-old children will enjoy a greater variety of experiences and focus more on small motor activities. They will begin to develop basic math concepts and problem-solving skills. Our four and five year old children will be offered a print-rich environment for developing language and literacy skills. School Age - Kindergarten and older

Circle of Love is licensed for school-age children. Children are offered a structured environment in which they develop and learn. Games with rules aid in the development of social and problem-solving skills. Hands-on activities, experimentation and books encourage cognitive growth. Play space and organized games give children the opportunity to develop physically. Teachers are also available to help students get started on any homework.
