The wide smiles on the boys and girls faces tell the whole story! Wonderful day, and a wonderful organization that we are lucky to partner with!

You thought Go Beyond was done for the summer? Think again! This past year, our program manager Mitch started up a climbing club at Creighton Prep, and it was such a hit that we ended up taking a trip out west!

Day 10: Our last day in Wyoming. To bring it full circle, we traveled back to our Centennial property and hiked the summit to Medicine Bow Peak. These boys pushed. HARD. We started our hike at 8:30 am and by 10 am, every camper and camp counselor was on top. For us, that’s basically a record time. Everything on this trip lead to this very moment, where the boys pushed with every ounce of courage and bravery to conquer the summit and truly Go Beyond their own expectations of what they are capable of. Although the trip is coming to an end, friendships will live on. Here’s to 10 days in Wyoming, the wilderness, and constantly challenging ourselves. Growth happens outside of our comfort zone. Until next year, Wyoming ❤️

Day 7/8/9: We went remote. No service, little contact, and backcountry vibes. At first, we took a hike to the natural water slide right outside sinks canyon, but as you can see, the storm was rolling in so we had to dip right out of there! After waiting out the storm, we set up camp and got a much needed nights rest. The following day we went rappelling down a mountain side, and rock climbed up limestone. Shout out to our guides at for making our experience unforgettable! We ended the night with a Kan Jam competition and s’mores before spending our final night in the Sinks. Today, we traveled a few hours back to Centennial but not before stopping by the Saratoga Hotsprings for a good soak! Now, we prepare for our final destination: to summit Medicine Bow Peak 🏔️🏃‍♂️

Day 5: Yellowstone! This is a big day for us. Not only is it a 5 am wake up call, it’s a 2.5 hour drive to our first stop. Today was full of majestic views! From Old Faithful to the Grand Prismatic Springs, the scenery was perspective changing. The boys got to witness true wilderness by seeing bison, elk, deer, and a wolf. A WOLF. That is a once in a lifetime experience. We finished the day with some glizzys (hotdogs) and a bonfire. Since today was such an eventful and long day, tomorrow will be filled with rest and the recreation center in Jackson. The boys will enjoy one more day in Alpine before heading out to Sinks Canyon!
