These tough days wonât last forever, and all the hard work youâre putting in now will pay off in ways you canât even imagine.
Youâre stronger than you realize, and with each passing day, it gets a little easier.
Keep going-youâre doing an amazing job, and your baby is so lucky to have you.

Unfortunately these are all actual things my patients have been toldâŚ..by well meaning hospital staff. đ
Drop yours in the comments â whatâs the most outrageous thing a staff member told you about breastfeeding? I know Iâm not the only one with receipts.
There is no greater compliment. đĽ°
It means a mama trusted me enough to share my name with someone she loves â and that tells me everything. âşď¸
To every client who has ever passed along my number, mentioned me to their OB, or told a friend in the middle of the night when she was struggling â thank you. You are the reason I do this work.
If someone sent you here, welcome. Youâre in the right place. đ¤

Which type of Dad will your partner be?
Or which type were they?
Iâve seen ALL these scenarios!
And a few more đ
The uncomfortable Dad that just doesnât know what to do.
The absent/working dad-who doesnât have any time off from work.
The sleepy dad who is watching his partner feed their baby and dozed off.
The overly involved Dad where I have to ask if I can
SQUEEZE in to check the latch-yep itâs happened!
And my favorite-the Dad who is taking notes, asking questions and making sure his partner feels comfortable.
AND bonus points if Dad asks what they can do to support Mom!!
Let me know in the comments what type of Dad you think your partner will be or what type they are/were.đ
You planned your nursery.
You planned your birth plan.
Have you planned whoâs in your corner once baby arrives?
Most moms donât think about lactation support until theyâre already struggling â exhausted, three days postpartum, googling at 2am.
âźď¸But breastfeeding success starts before baby arrives.
Having me on your team from the start means youâre not scrambling for help later. You already have it.
âĄď¸93% of the moms I work with prenatally go on to meet their feeding goals â because preparation beats panic, every time.
This is months of support, built around you. đ¤

This tells me sheâs already thinking ahead-and that changes everything!
Because hereâs what most moms are told:
âJust wait and see how it goes.â
But the reality?
When challenges come up (and they often do), youâre already exhausted, emotional, and trying to figure things out in real time.
Thatâs not when you want to be searching for help.
Having support in place ahead of time means:
đŠľYou know who to reach out to
đŠľYouâre not second guessing whatâs normal
đŠľYou get answers quickly instead of going down a
Google spiral
It takes so much pressure off those early days.
And honestly? Most moms donât even realize this is an option!
Thatâs exactly why I created my online, self paced course, Abundant Beginnings-so you have guidance before you need it, not just when things feel overwhelming.
And then take it one step further-after you go through the course, line up an IBCLC for postpartum support so you have someone ready if you need hands-on help!
If youâre local, this is exactly what I offer-so we can already have a plan in place before baby arrives.

When introducing a bottle to a breastfed baby, a slow-flow ni**le is often a great place to start.
This allows baby to control the flow more like they do at the breast, encourages a slower pace, and can help support a smoother transition between breast and bottle.
A faster flow may seem easier, but it can sometimes create more issues.
Follow your babyâs lead, they will let you know when itâs time to move up in bottle size. đ
Parents donât hesitate to invest in beautiful memories, high-end gear, or âjust-in-caseâ baby gadgetsâŚ
And yet, when it comes to lactation supportâsomething that directly impacts feeding, comfort, milk supply, and confidenceâit often gets pushed to âif we still need help later.â
Hereâs the truth:
You donât need the most expensive nursery to feed your baby.
But you may absolutely need real, hands-on support to make feeding feel less painful, less confusing, and a whole lot more doable.
Because lactation support isnât just about troubleshootingâitâs about preventing weeks of stress, uncertainty, and unnecessary struggle.
⨠Ideally, support starts prenatally so you walk into feeding with a plan instead of panic.
⨠But support at any stageâearly postpartum, NICU start, supply concerns, or latch challengesâcan be a complete turning point.
If youâre going to invest anywhere in those early weeksâŚ
make it in support that actually supports you.
