Mike here. For December, my book, "Minnehaha Falling: A Memoir of the 2020 Minneapolis Riots," was the selection for the A Girl and A Gun Women's Shooting League Book Club. Not only was having my book selected an honor, but my editor (and wife) Brenda Peterson & I were invited to join the book club event, too.

Mike here. While my book has the word “memoir” in the title, it’s much more than just my personal story. In fact, I spent three and a half years researching and writing Minnehaha Falling: A Memoir of the 2020 Minneapolis Riots.

At the end of the printed book, I include about 25 pages listing references. This is a small subset of the vast amount of research that I did.

Much of this book is organized chronologically and includes background information to help you gain a better understanding of historical factors that contributed to the events of 2020.
I also share my daily experiences alongside mainstream media-reported updates and parallel incidents in Minneapolis, the greater Twin Cities metro area, and nationwide.

Submitted from south Minneapolis, 36th and Portland Ave. Since traffic laws aren't enforced anymore and cops aren't allowed to pursue fleeing drivers and stolen vehicles, this is how residents must protect their property, with concrete barriers.

If you’re serious about your defensive fi****ms knowledge and skills beyond your mandatory state permit to carry course then you should seriously consider investing in yourself and getting into these classes offered by John Hearne at Two Pillars Training. Mike here: I can relate to this meme. Even though we relocated from ground zero of the 2020 riots that started off in our old location in S. Mpls. we are now currently a few miles from Offutt Air Force Base, home of the USSTRATCOM 😆
