BORED?
That was a dangerous word in our house.
The moment we said it, a broom appeared.
Leaves needed raking.
The garage needed cleaning.
And somehow there was always a chore waiting with our name on it.
Back then, boredom wasn’t solved with a screen.
It was solved with work.
We may have complained at the time, but those lessons stayed with us.
We learned responsibility.
We learned discipline.
And we learned that if you wanted something, you earned it.
Looking back, our parents had a funny way of keeping us busy.
But they also taught us one of life’s greatest lessons:
Idle hands found chores.
Busy hands built character.

The Washington Redskins Logo Was a Great One that Connected the Fans and Teams to America's Heritage and History, and Yet It Was Cancelled During the Craziness of the Post-2020 Cultural Revolution
And so we got the "Washington Commanders", a team with no connection to heritage and history. It's as if the worst, most boring corporate branding "expert" was given full rein to make the team and its logo as boring as possible, just so a few malcontents wouldn't freak out about it being "offensive".
Well, I think that's ridiculous. They need to change the logo back to show that Americans won't be intimidated by the woke mob any longer!

Ever notice how the temperature drops 10 degrees the second you walk under a big tree?
That’s not a coincidence. That’s nature doing the job we keep trying to replace with asphalt and parking lots.
We’ve turned our cities into heat islands by removing the very things designed to cool them down. The solution isn't some high-tech miracle—it's right outside. Plant a tree. Restore the shade. Bring back the cool. 🌳

I THINK IT’S TIME WE SAY THIS OUT LOUD.
Not every success story comes with a 4-year degree.
Some come with calloused hands, early mornings, and years of honest, skilled work.
The people who fix our cars, build our homes, keep our lights on, and make daily life possible deserve the same respect as anyone in a suit behind a desk.
Trade schools create professionals, not “backup plans.”
They build careers, pride, and independence.
For generations, hard work and skill were enough to earn respect.
That shouldn’t change.
Respect isn’t measured by a diploma on the wall.
It’s earned through dedication, craftsmanship, and showing up every single day.
