Last week we took our annual spring break trip to visit colleges out of town. This year we ventured to Colorado where we looked at Metropolitan State University Denver, Colorado State University, Colorado School of Mines, and got to see a Denver Nuggets game!

March has been full of excitement with a trip to UNL that included time with the school of engineering making prosthetic legs. We also visited the zoo which included time with a zoo keeper and a behind the scenes tour of the aquarium!

4th quarter already! Here are some highlights from February! We celebrated National TRIO Day, had a career visit with a Firefighter, and visited Nebraska Wesleyan University!!

Congratulations to MajieAhna who received the Tamara Stovall Smith: Fulfill a Dream Scholarship! She was honored at the MLK Jr Unity Prayer Breakfast yesterday!

First quarter flew by in a flash. We hosted a financial aid night, visited Film Streams and Valas (twice), visited Iowa Western, went to see The Outsiders, and an overnight in Kearney. We don't have pictures of everything but here are a couple! More events to come in November. Don't forget to check your email!!

Future of federal TRIO programs at risk "GMA" examines a federal initiative that has long provided opportunities for disadvantaged students nationwide but now faces potential threats.

The last week of June we spent a few days in Missouri hanging out at Worlds of Fun and then visiting the University of Missouri and Lincoln University.

Our 3rd week of summer we took two groups of students to Tree Rush Adventures as well as a tour of Wayne State College!

A little more of our summer adventures! We spent the first week of June going to Metro Community College, Skate City, Top Golf, and took a self defense class.

We can't believe it's June already!! We had a great first week of summer last week with trips to Worlds of Fun and Northwest Missouri State. Keep checking your emails over the summer. We have a lot more fun activities planned!;
