This was a short week this week with Memorial Day on Monday…. I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday weekend!! We also want to thank everyone for their service!! Thank you 😊

Even though it was a short week, we kicked it off with spending our day in the sun and learning how to maneuver our new schedule without having to rush meals to get kids out the door for school.. although now I have to learn a new schedule of preparing meals either the evening before or early morning so that we’re not running late for serving lunch with all of the time we’re spending outside enjoying the weather and time together.

I cannot wait to add some more fun activities for our outside play. We have been learning about Weather and how to recycle and to take care of our planet since spring. We will continue with that for a bit and then we are going to learn about flowers 🌺 growing plants 🪴 and bugs 🐛 & insects 🐞

We celebrated the Mom’s this morning with muffins, fruit, and the viral TikTok cinnamon rolls!! (although they had to be put back in the oven four times to finally be fully cooked. They turned out amazing.)

I also made a banner for my granddaughter. She turned eight today. I forgot to get her picture before she left for school! Sad day!!

Part two of our leprechaun adventures 2026

We had a special lunch of green eggs and ham with pancakes they were actually green too and rainbow fruit salad we made a green punch with pineapple juice, Hawaiian green punch and sprite. They also got to add rainbow sherbet if they wanted it in their drink.

The kids made traps to try to trap that sneaky little leprechaun unfortunately, he was a little too quick for us this year, but he did leave them a pot of gold chocolate gold that is lol 😂 and he also left them a rainbow in small wax bottles to drink.

He also left us a few little shenanigan tricks he left gold  coins for them to find a little gold nuggets and some rainbow sprinkles. We’re all over and he even left the toilet screen he forgot to flush after using our facilities that little sneaky leprechaun!!

We celebrated with the leprechaun a day early because a few of our students had to go back to school on Tuesday so they would have missed out on our leprechaun shenanigans. Here are some pictures from our fun filled & Busy leprechaun day.

Welcome to Wacky Wednesday!! The cat & the hat thing on & thing two really dressed up our room they moved chairs & placed items on the ceiling, turned our books upside down along with some decorations…..the superheroes and the emotions stuffy’s along with one thing two and Raggedy Ann were playing some kind of dice game with each other this morning lol 😂

I didn’t get pictures of lunch however we had sloppy Joe’s tater tots and a banana not quite a wacky lunch, but it was delicious!

I also did not get a picture of our wacky Wednesday snack. We made a trail mix with popcorn for hop on pop, M&Ms for the book of colors, Swedish fish for one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish, animal crackers for if I ran a zoo and Cadberry eggs for Horton hatches eggs!!

We had some awesome hats today & we made Cat in the Hat name Hats for our art & learning project for lunch we made Cat & the Hat Pizza & Cat & the Hat fruit with bananas strawberries & a vanilla wafer.

The kids helped with the pizza a little bit lol 😂
