Hello, we are looking for a friend to join us!!!!

I am a small in-home licensed childcare located off of 52nd and Harrison. I have one full time spot available. With a start date of August 13 2026

I serve USDA meals

We are a play base preschool where children learn through play.  while playing they learn a multitude of things such as building their imagination, critical thinking, building fine motor & large motor skills which is important for handwriting and physical activity, social and emotional skills which helps with Learning to share and compromise with each other these are very important & necessary skills to learn.

I have CPR first aid certified. I have several trainings that I have completed such as safe with you early learning guidelines business management management training & more.

I do have one pet. His name is Remmington he is an English Spring Spaniel he is 2 yr old …He’s kept mainly upstairs in my home my daycare’s in my basement.

 I have a small group of five children full time once school goes back then on non-school days I will have an additional four children during the day.

What do you do on a rainy day??

You challenge your imagination & you build a rainbow bridge & a tiny town!

Building things helps cognitive thinking & you use fine motor skills to put things together & large motor skills by bending picking things up & moving objects where they need to go. It is also building social and emotional skills learning to share and cooperate with each other.

I love it when they use the imagination it keeps them busy for sometime and they learned that they can do things on their own.

This was a short week this week with Memorial Day on Monday…. I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday weekend!! We also want to thank everyone for their service!! Thank you 😊

Even though it was a short week, we kicked it off with spending our day in the sun and learning how to maneuver our new schedule without having to rush meals to get kids out the door for school.. although now I have to learn a new schedule of preparing meals either the evening before or early morning so that we’re not running late for serving lunch with all of the time we’re spending outside enjoying the weather and time together.

I cannot wait to add some more fun activities for our outside play. We have been learning about Weather and how to recycle and to take care of our planet since spring. We will continue with that for a bit and then we are going to learn about flowers 🌺 growing plants 🪴 and bugs 🐛 & insects 🐞

We celebrated the Mom’s this morning with muffins, fruit, and the viral TikTok cinnamon rolls!! (although they had to be put back in the oven four times to finally be fully cooked. They turned out amazing.)
