PUBLIC IS INVITED TO ATTEND…..

There will be a meeting of the Pewitt Alumni Association on September 10, 2023, at 2:30 pm. This meeting will be held at the Pewitt Alumni Building on Highway 67. The Pewitt Alumni Association was formed many years ago and it’s purpose was to support both schools in raising funds that were given to teachers to purchase extra materials to aid in teaching. Teachers apply for this funding by submitting written proposals outlining their project and explaining how the funds would be spent. In the past years the Alumni has sponsored many activities to help raise money. We need input from the Naples, Omaha and Marietta areas as to whether we are to continue with this program.

Joann Luttrell Adams passed away on October 12 at the home of her son, Vern Adams in Marion, TX.
Joann was born December 8,1942. She had instructed Vern that she did not want a funeral service and wished to be cremated. Reluctantly he is honoring her wishes. Our prayers go out to Vern and his family Gary, Lannie and Terry.
