The Soybean Lady visited our 4th grade students yesterday! 4th graders had the chance to learn all about soy beans! They learned how they are made, what foods and materials they are in, and how they help Nebraska agriculture!

🚸 School Zone Safety Reminder 🚸

School has been back in session for a couple of weeks, and we want to remind everyone to slow down, stay alert, and follow posted traffic laws in the school zones around Ralston. A few extra seconds of caution can help keep our students, families, and staff safe.

Ralston High School

🚫 No stopping, standing, or parking along Park Dr. Please do not stop to drop off or pick up passengers. Use the school parking lot instead.

🔄 No U-turns are permitted on Park Dr.

🚶 Watch for pedestrians and always yield to pedestrians in crosswalks.

Ralston Middle School, Seymour Elementary School, St. Gerald Catholic

➡️ Lakeview St. is one-way between 80th St. and 84th St., with traffic traveling eastbound only.

🐢 The speed limit on Lakeview St. between 77th Ave. and 84th St. is 15 mph during morning and afternoon school hours.

🚗 Watch for signs marking designated drop-off areas, and do not park where signs prohibit parking.

➡️ 79th St. between Seymour St. and Lakeview St. is one-way before and after school, with traffic traveling southbound only.

🚶 Watch for pedestrians and always yield to pedestrians in crosswalks.

Wildewood Elementary School

🐢 The speed limit on Ralston Ave. in the school area is 20 mph during morning and afternoon school hours.

Challenge for 3rd grade: We did a team building challenge in 3rd grade yesterday. Students worked in groups to make the longest paper chain out of one sheet of paper. They all showed great teamwork!
