⬇This Child's World primary student is focused on the Montessori golden bead work. This work introduces children to the decimal system and arithmetic operations using tangible, physical quantities. The material allows children to see 👀 and touch 🤏 place value, building a concrete foundation for ➕addition, ➖subtraction, ✖multiplication, and ➗division.

🥳🥳Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4-8, 2026)! 🥳🥳 This year our theme is all about the value of the educators in their role in Building Brighter Futures. 📌📍We need your help to make this week a success! 📍📌

🤩Monday May 4-: “It is easier to build strong children, then to repair broken men” - Frederick Douglass. We invite families to bring a “teacher tool” - markers, highlighters, pencils, post-it notes, pens.

🤩Tuesday May 5th- Teachers plant the seeds for curiosity and creativity.” We invite families to bring in a flower to add to the vase in the classroom. Other suggestions would be seeds to plant or small plants for the classroom.

🤩Wednesday May 6th- "Teachers help me become what I want to be!" Dress up in what you want to be when you grow up. Nacho Bar- items needed for this, sign-up sheets will be available in the school for this.

🤩Thursday May 7- Refreshment bar for teachers. Provided by Cadence for the teachers

🤩Friday- "Teachers build brighter futures" Breakfast bar- items needed for this, sign-up sheets will be available in the school for this. We invite families to bring in little goodie bags filled with the teacher's favorite things
