• ADDRESS: 14th and Farnam Street. Wilson.
Omaha, Nebraska.
• ESTABLISHED: As yet, the date that the school was founded is unknown. However, Omaha Art School was in operation in 1948 (as early advertisements document); and, the school may have been established as early as 1940.
• CLOSURE: The Omaha Art School closed its doors sometime between 1970 and 1977.
• LOCATION(s) OF SCHOOL: Although Farnam Street was not the first site for the Omah

OMAHA ART SCHOOL.
• ADDRESS: 14th and Farnam Street. Omaha, Nebraska.
• ESTABLISHED: As yet, the date is unknown. However, Omaha Art School was in operation in 1948 (as early advertisements illustrate); and, the school may have been established as early as 1940.
• CLOSURE: The Omaha Art School closed its doors sometime between 1970 and 1977.
• LOCATION(s) OF SCHOOL: Although Farnam Street was not the first site for the Omaha Art School, the final and most well-known location of the Omaha Art School was in downtown Omaha, in the "penthouse" of the old Woodmen of the World Building, at 14th and Farnam. Originally 18 stories, an additional story was added to the Woodmen of the World building in 1919, to accommodate radio station WOW. When built, the Woodmen of the World Building was the tallest between Chicago and the West Coast. A large dedication ceremony was held October 3, 1912. [The original W.O.W. building was demolished in 1977].
• FOUNDER OF THE OMAHA ART SCHOOL: Wayne H. Wilson.
DATE THAT OMAHA ART SCHOOL WAS ESTABLISHED: At present, the date that the school was established is unknown; however, there is documentation that Omaha Art School existed as early as 1948, as the following advertisement illustrates:
