We have international students, faculty, staff and researchers from more than 60 countries including several students emanating from our special relationship with China as part of the Chinese Scholarship Council Program (http://www.unmc.edu/aprdp/csc.htm), as well as students and fellows from countries as diverse as India, Germany, Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil, Russia, Nigeria and Zambia. Our graduate students and post-doctoral fellows share an elegant campus with over 3,200 professional students in the nationally ranked Colleges of Medicine (http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-medical-schools/university-of-nebraska-medical-center-04063), Nursing (http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-health-schools/nursing-rankings/page+2) , Pharmacy (http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-health-schools/pharmacy-rankings/page+2), Dentistry (http://www.usdentalschools.com/top_school_rankings/index.html), Public Health, and the School of Allied Health. Several of our graduate studies alumni are professors at distinguished academic institutions across the country and around the world and several more have distinguished themselves outside academia in settings such as governmental agencies, biomedical, biotechnical and pharmaceutical industries. Our faculty members serve on several federal scientific and advisory committees including committees of the National Institute of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration. We take great pride in our graduate students and post-doctoral fellows and our primary goal is to ensure that you receive a world-class education that will set you up well for a bright future either inside or outside academia.
