This summer, Karsyn Bandow-Stroebele '27 represented Marian in her home state of Iowa at Iowa Girls State. We're proud to see our students take advantage of opportunities to learn, lead and grow.

Congratulations to Maeve Rose Wharton '26 on being selected as a semifinalist for the 2026 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program — one of the nation's highest honors for graduating high school seniors! That's a BIG deal, we would say! Maeve is among just 627 students nationwide advancing to the final round of consideration for this prestigious recognition, which honors exceptional academic achievement, leadership and service. Our Marian girls are making the most of their summer opportunities! ☀️ Rising seniors Violet Christen and Erin Cramer represented Marian at Nebraska Girls State, a week-long leadership program focused on government, citizenship and public service. Way to go, Violet and Erin!

Today, as the American Heart Association celebrates 100 years of advancing heart health and saving lives, we're proud to recognize several Marian girls who were honored as AHA Sweethearts at this year's Heart Ball. ❤️

Congratulations to these outstanding young women for representing Marian and supporting a mission that has impacted countless lives for a century.

The Nebraska Coaches Association has announced that THREE Marian coaches have been named NCA-Hudl Coaches of the Year in their respective sports! Please join us in congratulating BJ Christiansen (swim & dive), Teresa DeGeorge (soccer), and Robert Davis (golf) on this outstanding recognition. We are incredibly proud to have such dedicated, passionate and high-impact coaches leading Marian athletics. GO CRUSADERS!

Another day, another Marian travel recap! 🌎
After 10 unforgettable days, 61 Marian Girls and 10 chaperones returned home with memories that will last a lifetime. From riding three bullet trains and exploring bustling city streets to visiting historic temples, shrines and cultural landmarks, our Marian travelers experienced the rich history, traditions and daily life of Japan firsthand. 🇯🇵

Along the way, they embraced new forms of transportation, sampled authentic cuisine, discovered incredible art and nature, and connected with the people and culture that make Japan so unique. Experiences like these broaden perspectives, deepen understanding and remind us of the value of learning beyond the classroom.

We are grateful for a safe trip and proud of the curious and adventurous spirit Marian Girls have!
