Now Enrolling! Safe Haven Early Childhood Preschool Education Academy.
Services: Early Childhood and Preschool program. We specialize in early intervention preparing children for kindergarten and academic success. We serve toddler’s preschoolers, school age and home-schooled children. We encourage children to be creative, independent thinkers. We use multi-sensory teaching methods to prepare children for kindergarten and help children who struggle with reading and have dyslexia and dysgraphia. We offer fun-hands on learn and play learning labs that focus on the developmental stages to help toddlers and preschoolers develop and grow physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively.
After School program: “KIDS CAN READ”™ Reading Tutorial Academy serving 5 year olds to school age children. We specialize in providing tutoring for children who struggle with reading, and have Dyslexia and dysgraphia (writing problems). We use scientifically proven researched based Orton Gilliham inspired systematic, sequential, explicit multisensory teaching methods. We provide one on one, and small group tutoring program. We accept Title XX, Private pay, Healthy Meals, and Transportation. Preparing children for academic success since 2000. Call for more information 402 706-1358.
I am Gwen Easter, the executive director of Safe Haven Community Center and the owner of Safe Haven Early Childhood Preschool Education Academy established since 1999. I have been appointed by Governor Pete Ricketts to be a member of his Early Childhood Interagency Coordination Council since February 2017. I am committed to being an influential voice for providers and parents to share concerns, ideas, and solutions of childcare providers, as well as helping state agencies improve their services for young children. I have tutored children and adults since 1998 and I am is a certified dyslexia screener, advocate, trainer, and consultant. All staff and volunteers receive professional developmental education training to help them prepare children for academic success.
