Teaching Kids the Importance of Gratitude 11/10/2016

Good Afternoon!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and remembered to set you clocks back 1 hour!

Grading Unit 3 report cards were mailed on Monday. If you donโ€™t receive your students report card please contact Karen at 402-390-8214. We did not have our Student Celebration Assembly for Grading Unit 3 on Friday. It was rescheduled for Tuesday.

I would like to say THANKS to the 5 parents that have contacted me regarding their involvement in the parenting group! I am looking forward to working with you to improve our program at West Campus and help ALL students be successful! My plan is to schedule a meeting the middle of January. It is not too late to join this group so if you are interested, please let me know.

Students will be participating in gratitude activities this month in Advisory. Our goal is to help students exxpress feelings of gratitude and help students recognize all the things they can be thankful for. Expressing feelings of thanks can decrease stress and increase a feeling of belonging. Be sure to ask your students about the activities they are doing everyday in Advisory. In addition, please check out the following link for additional information on teaching kids the importance of gratitude.
